Walk With Us

One Body, Many Parts

Every mission is sustained by many hands working together. Some pray, some give, some build, some send. Scripture shows us that every role matters in the work of God.

We have chosen four partnership paths that reflect the spiritual imagery that has shaped this mission from the beginning. They are rooted in the same theological language that runs through our teaching, our discipleship work, and our calling.

No one role is greater than another. Just as the body has many parts, the mission is sustained by people serving in different ways according to what God has placed on their hearts.

Prayer, encouragement, and faithful support

When Paul wrote to the church in Philippi, he thanked them for standing with him in the work of the gospel. They supported him when others did not. Sometimes through financial gifts, sometimes through prayer, and sometimes simply through encouragement.

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
Philippians 1:3–5

Philippian Partners are those who feel called to walk alongside this mission through prayer and encouragement. Some may also give financially when they are able. Others may simply carry the work before the Lord regularly. What defines this partnership is not the size of the gift but the faithfulness of the heart.

These partners form the spiritual covering of the mission. They pray for the people we serve, for wisdom in leadership, for protection in ministry, and for the continued work of God in the community.

Like the believers in Philippi, they become fellow laborers in the gospel even from afar.

Many hands. Faithful provision.

In Scripture, wells represented life. Without water a community could not survive. Jacob had to dig up the wells of his father before he could dig new ones. And if you neglect the wells that sustain you, you die.

And the LORD will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
Isaiah 58:11

Well Diggers are the steady stream of support that sustains the daily work of ministry. These partners form the foundation of the mission through consistent giving and faithful prayer. Some may give small amounts. Some may give more. What matters is the collective faithfulness that keeps the water flowing.

Like the laborers who reopened the wells of the fathers, these partners ensure that the mission continues day after day.

Their impact is quiet but powerful. They keep the well full.

Fueling the work of discipleship and outreach.

Altars in Scripture were places where people encountered God and marked moments of covenant and transformation. When Jacob saw the ladder reaching to heaven, he built an altar. When God made promises, His people marked the ground.

“Let us arise and go up to Bethel, and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me wherever I have gone.”
Genesis 35:3

Altar Builders help create the spaces where those encounters can happen. Their generosity supports mission travel, pastor gatherings, discipleship training, and the development of Wayfinders as a discipleship pathway.

Their gifts help build environments where believers grow, leaders are strengthened, and communities encounter the presence of God.

They help build places where faith deepens, and lives are changed.

Carrying the burden so the mission can run freely.

“Because he was of the same trade, he stayed with them and worked, for they were tentmakers by trade.”
Acts 18:3

The apostle Paul sometimes worked as a tentmaker so the gospel could move forward without burdening the churches. But Scripture also shows that many believers supported the work so that the gospel could advance without distraction.

For they have gone out for the sake of the name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth.
3 John 7–8

Tent Makers are those who shoulder a larger share of the financial burden. Their generosity allows us to focus fully on ministry rather than constantly worrying about resources. These partners provide the stability that allows long-term vision to move forward.

Their gifts give wings to dreams and give speed to our feet.

Our Commitment to You

When you partner with this mission, you are not giving to a program. You are stepping into a story God is writing through two real people in a real place with real needs.

And we want to make sure you feel that.

You will hear from us regularly. Not just reports, but testimony. Stories of what God is doing in the community, among the pastors Eric is walking alongside, in the children Melody is serving through teaching and art, and honestly, in us, too. We are not going to Kenya as finished people. We are going as followers of Christ who are still being shaped by Him.

Your prayers, your faithfulness, and your generosity help make this work possible. And when God moves, we want you to know it, because you are part of it.

What Your Partnership Makes Possible

First, your partnership helps keep Eric and Melody on the ground full-time in Kisii County. Through prayer, encouragement, and financial support, you make it possible for us to be present day in and day out. Melody serving in the school and church, investing in students and families. Eric opening the Word with believers and pastors, building relationships in the community, and walking with people in the daily rhythms of life. Presence matters. Discipleship begins there. Your partnership makes that presence possible.

Second, your partnership flows through our lives into the lives of others. We do not want to live among people in need and only speak kind words. Scripture warns against that kind of hollow blessing. The gospel is lived as well as preached. It puts clothes on backs, food in bellies, and Bibles in hands. It makes room at the table. It breaks bread. It gives care where care is needed. Your prayer, your faithfulness, and your giving help us serve in that same spirit, meeting practical needs as God brings them before us.

Third, your partnership helps fuel the larger vision God continues to place on our hearts. The ancient Way. The life of the early church. A discipleship pattern rooted in Scripture, lived in community, and centered fully on Christ. Our desire is to embody that life in Kenya, build it out in real time through discipleship, pastor encouragement, and shared life, and, Lord willing, bring that living model back to churches that are hungry for something deeper. Churches that need help finding their way back home.

Your partnership does not sit idle. It breathes and lives. It moves and covers. It feeds and equips. It loves and sends.

And together, we share in the fruit of what God accomplishes in Kisii County and beyond.
